ARDEEVAN British Shorthar Cats

Hello, my name is Gerard Kiely-Jones and my partner and I are breeders of British Shorthair Cats, we are based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, about 10 miles from Leeds.

We specialise in Self colours including Blue, Cream, Lilac, Chocolate, and Cinnamon, we also breed Blue/Cream torties and Tipped British Shorthair cats. We also support the Cinnamon breeding programme in joint partnership with other established breeders.

Our main priority here at ARDEEVAN British Shorthair cats is to breed quality, healthy kittens with funloving and outgoing personalities. Health, temperament and type are of paramount importance to us.

We fell in love with the British Shorthair cat with their chunky legs... cobby body... big cheeks... plush, velvet like coat... beautiful dreamy eyes… and of course that wonderful... laid back, chilled out personality. SHOW NEWS

On February 17th 2008 Sadhbh made her debut onto the international show bench. And what a wonderful start to her international career.

Sadhbh won Best of Breed in the British Shorthair Tipped section; she also took first place in the same section and gained her first international Champion Certificate.

The tipped variety of the British shorthair is not widely available in Ireland so our Sadhbh caused quite a stir at the show held by the Midland Cat Club of Ireland.
